Volunteer and internship opportunities

The Respect Trust seeks reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to help our work. This is an exciting opportunity to directly support key campaigns and to develop a wide range of skills and experience in a voluntary sector setting.

The work will be based in our London office and will include campaigning and administrative assistance, co-ordinating work with trade union, student and anti-racist and Black movement allies; writing short articles and distributing literature.

The commitment will be a minimum of 1 day (ideally 2 days) a week for a period of at least three months. Your travel costs within London and a lunch allowance will be paid.

You will need good written and verbal communication skills; good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Access; be able to follow instruction and be capable of working independently and managing your own time effectively. You must be hard working, versatile and committed to the work and aims of the Respect Trust.
