About Us
Welcome to the Respect Trust – a national charity established to
promote race equality in our lifetime and a positive agenda in defence
of multiculturalism.
We aim to:
• promote equality of opportunity and good relations between persons
of different racial and other minority groups
• raise awareness of racial and other discrimination issues through
public education
• provide assistance to the victims of racism and similar discrimination
• benefit all citizens of the UK by working towards the elimination
of such discrimination and promoting joint work by individuals and
groups from various minority groups in the UK and the wider public.
Respect
Trust works in partnership and solidarity with people affected
by racism, Black community groups, anti-racist organisations, students, trade unionists and
all anti-racists to bring the widest support for initiatives to challenge
racism and promote the values of multiculturalism.
